Shaping your member experience: We all play a part!

This year, we're going fully virtual! We'll be hosting it on the user-friendly platform, Cisco WebEx.

As always, the AGM is an opportunity to reflect on the past year’s highlights and achievements and celebrate our collective resilience. Aside from the standard updates and reports, this year’s AGM holds a unique place as it takes place against the backdrop of a transformative year marked by our pending amalgamation with Servus Credit Union.

In light of the upcoming amalgamation with Servus Credit Union, the Board of Directors has approved a continuity-focused approach for board governance. To maintain stability during this period, incumbent directors with expiring terms have been endorsed and this acclamation will be shared officially at the AGM.

It sure feels soon since our last meeting, doesn’t it? Even with the impending amalgamation with Servus, we remain independent entities for now. Our bylaws mandate an AGM within a set period after our fiscal year ends. So, fulfilling our reporting duties to our members, who are also our owners and deeply invested in our performance, remains crucial until the merger is officially complete.
Our board chose to conduct a fully virtual AGM this year to make it as accessible as possible to our members, regardless of their location in the province. We recognize the importance of everyone having the opportunity to participate, and going virtual helps us reach members far and wide 
We’ll take a high-level look back at our performance, diving into the highlights and challenges of the past year. We’ll also present our financials, offering additional insights and commentary. And of course, we’ll discuss our future direction and provide important governance updates, so that members have a complete picture of our current and future path.

For this year, we’re excited to use WebEx as our virtual meeting platform. WebEx is a leading platform widely recognized for its reliability, high-quality audio and video, and comprehensive features. We chose WebEx for its proven performance and to ensure that every member has a seamless, engaging, and secure experience. 
With WebEx’s proven track record for reliability, we’re confident in its performance for our AGM. We’re also implementing fail safes and additional measures to reinforce the platform’s stability. This way, our members can participate with peace of mind, knowing that we’ve prepared for a smooth and uninterrupted experience. 
Yes! To ensure all members who plan to attend will receive their unique meeting link to join us on March 13, you need to have registered. The registration deadline was March 11 at 6 PM, and is now closed.
