Digital Equity
There’s a significant digital divide in our community, and families struggling to get by may not be able to ensure their young students have the tools they need to thrive in science, technology, engineering, and math classes (STEM).
In 2024, our branches have united to purchase laptops and TI-8 graphing calculators! This directly translates to student success and a brighter future for our Albertan youth.
Volunteering
With United Way as conveners, we’ve been able to connect with amazing non-profits, charities and grassroots groups to volunteer and provide time, energy and specific skills to support these organizations good work in community.
We are grateful for the opportunity to build these relationships and contribute to community wellness and connect as a team.
Backpack Drive
Every student deserves an equal start to the school year. When we provide equitable access to basic needs, we can make sure every child has the chance to succeed.
Our teams got together to donate, sort and pack backpacks. Each backpack was filled with essential school supplies such as notebooks, calculators, and personal care items like hand sanitizer, deodorant and more for youth success.
