What's new?

We’re officially connectFirst Credit Union, with a new look reflected in our branches, digital banking, mobile app and website.

As you can see we have a new website. The new, streamlined, easy-to-use website will make it easier for you to access the information you need to inform your financial decisions.

Speaking of change, you will notice that your digital banking and mobile app look different too. You’ll still be able to access your account and complete transactions as you’ve done before.

Questions you may have:

First Calgary, Mountain View, Chinook and Legacy Financial have been divisions of Connect First Credit Union since 2014. We wanted to bring the whole family together to extend our network of products and services to all members (no matter the division) across Alberta. So we’re bringing everyone home to connectFirst Credit Union. It’s a little reunion of sorts!

Given the vast area covered by our 40+ branches, we'll be updating the signage at these locations over the next few months. Any disruptions to the in-branch banking will be minimal and we'll be able to help you with all your usual requests.

In early May, we launched our new website, which reflects our new identity as connectFirst Credit Union and offers a simpler experience for you. The current First Calgary, Mountain View, Chinook and Legacy Financial sites are all redirecting you to our new home at now.
We designed this website in the hopes of keeping it as simple to navigate as possible. Whether you're looking for our list of products, what our interest rates are, who's on our board of directors, or where to login to online banking, you should find a link right from the home page.

    • You can access your online banking by clicking on the blue button in the top right corner of every page of this website.
  • All other banking logins such as credit cards, investments, commercial member banking, etc.
    • Find all of these links from the top menu navigation, when you hover over All logins found on every single page.

    • Book in with a team member at one of 40+ locations across central and southern Alberta by clicking on the book appointment link in the top menu navigation found on every single page.
  • Products and rates
    • You can access a list of our products and rates when you hover over products in the top menu navigation found on every single page.

    • Find a list of frequently asked questions and financial calculators by hovering over learn in the top menu navigation found on every single page.
  • Contact information
    • We provide access to our Contact Centre number, social media links, a contact form, and a list to our branch locations when you click on the blue contact us button found in the footer of the website on each page.

Yes, you can continue using you existing debit and credit cards. Newly branded debit cards are coming soon and will be available in branches in late May. Alternatively, you’ll receive a new debit card when your existing one expires.

Your online banking and mobile app functions are not changing at this time. You will see a change in color to reflect our new brand, but functionality remains exactly the same. If you have set up your app to receive automatic updates, you will already see the new look when you log in next. If your app is set to be manually updated, you will notice the new look as of May 7, unless you choose to manually update your app before then.

No you do not have to change your accounts. We will be launching new, simplified products over the coming months and would love to chat with you about those to see if they’re a better fit with your financial needs.
